Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-10
These terms govern the public EvalRank website and its anonymous receipt-first API. This is a pre-production service and its data, methods, and availability may change.
1. What EvalRank provides
EvalRank presents attributed public benchmark evidence in comparable ranking groups, reports uncertainty and coverage gaps, and can return a supported top set or abstain. A result is evidence synthesis, not a guarantee, warranty, endorsement, or substitute for professional advice.
2. Decision receipts
A share=false decision is not retained by the public decision route. A share=true decision is retained under a content-addressed receipt ID and is public to anyone who has the receipt URL. Do not put personal, confidential, regulated, or secret information in a decision query.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not evade rate limits, interfere with the service, probe non-public systems, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.
- Do not remove citations or uncertainty in a misleading way, or present a top set as a guaranteed single winner.
- Do not use EvalRank for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful activity.
4. Sources and rights
Each cited source keeps its own license and terms. EvalRank attribution does not grant broader rights. Follow source-specific rights before redistributing source material or derived data.
5. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided as is to the extent permitted by law. Evidence may be incomplete, stale, corrected, quarantined, or withdrawn. Check the query, citations, freshness, constraints, and current suitability before acting.
6. Changes
Material changes will be published here with a new update date. Continued use after a change is subject to the updated terms.
